Principal's Message
Our Spring Carnival is coming on Friday May 25th from 5:00-8:00 and we are really looking forward to it. Our PAC is planning the carnival and needs some help. If you are able to help with the planning of the carnival or could spend an hour helping out, we would sure appreciate it.
At school we continue to focus on teaching our students how to read, write, work with numbers and get along with others. We spend a lot of time reviewing our Code of Conduct which includes 4 key concepts: Respect, Responsible, Safe, Be Your Best. Our entire Code of Conduct is found this website.
Our parking lot is congested for about 10 minutes before school and 15 minutes after school. You could help out by car pooling or by having your child walk/ride to school. We do try to keep the traffic moving but it is difficult. Please be patient when you are in our parking lot. You will get out but it may take a few minutes. We're asking that you do not park in the "No Parking" zones in front of people's driveways. Please be courteous. Thank you for your cooperation.

Watson Elementary is located 100km east of Vancouver in Chilliwack, British Columbia. We are within walking distance to the Canadian Armed Forces Base, which closed down four years ago. We are a K-6 elementary school of about 400 students.
In an effort to promote a positive learning environment, Watson has many special programs that are a part of the fabric of our school. This includes our StrongStart, Montessori Preschool, FVCDC Autism Pre-school and Early Success Program.
